What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm & Saturday 10:00am to 1:00pm. 

Do you work with all insurance companies?

We are Suncorp Authorised Repairers however work with most insurance companies. The Suncorp brand includes AAMI, GIO, Shannons, Bingle, APIA, Terri Scheer, Vero, CIL Insurance, Resilium, Insure My Ride and Just Car Insurance.

What information will I need to give to my insurer when lodging a motor vehicle claim?

When you lodge a claim you will need to provide the following information from you and from any other parties involved:

  • Date and time of accident
  • Make and model of the vehicle
  • Vehicle's registration number
  • Driver's and owner's name(s)
  • Driver's license number
  • Insurance company for other party(s) involved
  • Location of accident
  • Whether police attended and any incident number that you may have been given

Once you have lodged the claim, you will be allocated a claim number, which we will require. You can download your RNT Glovebox Companion by following the link to the right of screen.

Do you offer hire cars?

Some insurers offer a free hire car with their policy at an additional premium. RNT can provide a replacement vehicle under certain circumstances, conditions apply.

How long will it take to fix my car?

Whilst we have a good idea of the repair time frame, it is difficult to commit to exact times. Delays occur. If it is a large repair, it is not always possible to see all of the damage until the repairs have commenced. The final stage of the repair is the mechanical component which may include wheel alignment, air conditioning re-gassing and electrical repairs or resetting. There may be issues with any of these, which can effect the completion time. We will however keep you updated throughout the process, and advise if delays will occur.

Can I choose my own repairer?

Yes. Most insurers will offer you choice of repairer even if they have their own recommended repairers. Remember...IT IS YOUR CHOICE!

At the scene of an accident, can I insist that my vehicle is towed directly to RNT?

Absolutely yes. Most towing companies have the ability to contact us directly. 

After I take delivery of my vehicle, what do I do if a problem arises?

If a problem arises or you have any concerns, contact us immediately on 9786 9911. Whilst we hope this never happens, we will be more than happy to address the issue or contact your insurer on your behalf.

How long will it take to complete a quote on my vehicle?

If the vehicle is drivable, quoting should take approximately 10 minutes of your time to get enough detail to commence the process. 

Does RNT handle fleet vehicles?

Yes, we can handle repairs to your fleet vehicles. We understand how critical it is to your business that your fleet and commercial vehicles are back on the road in the shortest possible time frame. We have a longstanding relationship with a number of fleet, corporate and commercial clients.
